About Quincy
Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Hoops Scout
Quincy’s stock at the colligate level has been rising as of late as he has picked up offers from Western Washington, Lewis & Clark St, Evergreen College, Eastern Oregon, and more. He is a versatile wing who can play the guard position too. He is quick off the dribble, having a great first step that not a lot of opposing players can match. He controls the pace of the game well and picks up quickly on how opposing defenses are ran.

Scott is an athletic guard who did a little bit of everything for Meta Hoops down in Oakland. He showed a great desire to rebound on both ends, walked into some 3s, finished high and strong at the cup, and showed good vision up the court in transition.

Scott is now running with META Hoops and he was a dog! This kid is nice and he has major bounce. One of the better athletes out there at this event and he was working on the class and showing that three-level scoring ability. He has an offer from Northwest University and he should be getting a lot more looks the way he was playing.

Quincy is a small town prospect but can play with the top talent in the state. He scored his 1,000th point this season and isn’t done yet. He finds his spots smoothly on the court and is still improving. He has a well rounded game, doing a little bit of everything, even the little things. Quincy defends at a high level, having a high motor on the defensive side of the ball. Playing for Hooptown will really elevate his game even more.

Quincy is one of the best prospects in Class 2B. You could make an argument that they are up there with the best teams at any level in the area. He and running mate, Tristan Frimodt Tristan Frimodt 6'2" | SG Columbia Burbank | 2025 State WA were only sophomores. They were CO-MVP of their league and I can understand why. You never know which one might go off on any given night, most of the time both did. Quincy is long and athletic for a guard and can create by getting to the basket in a hurry or use his deep range to knock down threes. He can take over games and score in bunches. He is excellent in the open floor and has the size to score well in the paint. He has good speed and footwork, to go along with his highly skilled offensive game. He will be a tough match-up for any team in 2B next year.

The other half of the dynamic duo in the Burbank backcourt. He is a great athlete who can score from anywhere on the floor. He is long and excels in the open floor. He is great in the half court as well, breaking down the defense off the dribble, he covers a lot of ground in few dribbles. He has deep range on his lefty three and shoots it well, with a full on opportunity to shoot it at an elite level with his two years of high school left. He might be the most attractive recruit for college coaches in Class 2B next year with his size and athletic ability as only a junior in 2024. One other thing that is great about these two is that they work so well together.

Quincy is a talented scorer with great size and length on the perimeter. He came out on fire against Lake Roosevelt in the quarterfinals. It was much needed as Lake Roosevelt came out and had the lead in the 1st half. He had the first 8 points of the game for his team, and continued to get buckets throughout the game. In the 2nd half Burbank demolished LR. He and his teammates were clicking on all cylinders. He is only a Sophomore but you would never know it. He is excellent in the open floor and can finish at the rim with the best of them. He shoots it well from three and can play any position on the floor. His size and versatility is tough to match. He is a player that should be on the radar for college coaches.
