Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
Another underrated 2B player, Salme represents the Adna Pirates and is a kid capable of nearing triple-double type stats on a nightly basis. He’s got a really smooth handle, exhibits excellent anticipation across the board, and can finish with a number of shot types. Depending on how far Adna can go in his senior year, Salme could start to garner more attention this winter, and deservedly so.

He is the heart and soul of his team and will make plays when it counts. He seems to up his game in big situations. He has the ball in his hands when it counts. He has the ability to get into the paint anytime he wants, where he is relentless. He doesn’t give up on plays and that leads to getting buckets, whether he is spinning his way to the rim or getting offensive rebounds. He can and will hit threes and seems to up his percentage in clutch situations. He is best getting downhill and he does that often. A possible game changer, especially in close games.

The 3rd Central 2B player from the county here. The best point guard in the league can get to the basket and score from all levels. He has a high basketball IQ and sees the floor well. He doesn’t make many mistakes. The returning first team all league junior is a clutch player who will keep coming at the defense when his team needs a basket. He is resilient and talented. He could also make a case for the player of the year.

Best point guard in the loaded Central 2B. He is also only a junior, and brings back his 16PPG from last season. He gets to the bucket as well as anyone in 2B.

He leads a trio of juniors and is one of the best point guards in 2B. He got 16PPG on his way to a 1st team all league selection in the Central 2B. He is excellent at getting downhill and can finish in the paint. He can shoot it too, but his strength is getting by the defense and either scoring or dishing to an open teammate.

Another one that can play either guard position. Averaged 16PPG as a sophomore last year. He’s a great ball handler. He is good at breaking down the defense with the dribble and he can shoot the three. I will put him at the point, but would rather this team run with it, and they have four players who can grab and go. He doesn’t turn the ball over much, he’ll compete, and play smart.
