West is a rangy, athletic guard who’s excellent around the rim, both finishing drives and crashing the boards to get tip-ins and offensive rebounds. He’s a hard worker who can fill the lanes on the break and finish through contact in the paint and get those and-ones.

He was effective all tournament long with 25 points (5 steals), 17 (6 rebounds), and 11 ( 5 rebounds) in three games. He shot the ball well from three, adding another dimension to his game as an athletic slashing type guard. He and his brother Avidan West Avidan West Avidan West 6'0" | CG Northwest Christian-Colbert | 2025 State WA were tough to handle on the perimeter, taking turns leading the team in scoring. Both are back next season with Asher being a junior this year and Avi a Sophomore. Northwest Christian is a good bet to be back in Spokane in 2024.

I like West because he is a long, athletic guard who also has a great feel for the court and how to move the ball. Only 6’0, West has a long reach that makes him seem closer to 6’3. He’s a disrupter on defense and someone who’s looking to attack the middle on offense. He has really nice vision from the top of the key and can whip passes into tight windows.
