Justin Prather | Prep Hoops Scout
The versatile and ultra talented guard is headed to the University of Portland next year. He never played a high school season that didn’t end up in the state title game. One title and twice second, including this season where3 he was named Class 2B player of the year. Portland is lucky to have such a talented player who has a great attitude as well as being a fierce competitor. He has been pulling the trigger from three for all four of his high school seasons.

. He is long and athletic, with unlimited range on his jumper. At 6’7, he is a perimeter player but does damage in the paint as well. He can pull-up and knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. No stranger to Spokane, he has already played in two state title games, winning one. Brewster would play Napavine in the quarterfinals if they beat Tri Cities Prep Wednesday.

It probably wouldn’t matter how many times I wrote this, he would make the cut regardless. At 6 foot 7 inches tall, he’s a hybrid type guard who can play anywhere on the floor. He has the game to go on and help a division 1 school as more of a stretch three. I really like the way he scores off the bounce. He is able to use the dribble to get his shot virtually anytime he wants. With that size, playing on the perimeter, he is tough to stop. He likes to shoot the deep ball and does it well with a silky smooth jumper. He has been in the last two state championship games in 2B, and will be looking to lead a talented Brewster team to a third this season.

He’s a 6’6 scoring machine and a four year starter who has played in two title games already. He’s able to play any position on the floor and has a great shooting touch from long distance. He’s also great off the bounce, creating space and shooting it off the dribble. He plays more as a guard but will get buckets from anywhere.

Off the dribble, off the catch, it doesn’t matter for Gebbers. He has the strong lower body and solid base on his shot to hit from any situation. It’s easy to see the reps he’s put in because his shot looks the same on every attempt. He’s got that good snap on his shot and from feet to follow-through, his form is picture perfect.
