He was a huge piece of Davenport’s state championship run. A point guard who plays under control and sets his team up with his high IQ play from the point guard position. He hit some huge threes all tournament long. He didn’t tuhe ball over and played great defense. He was a leader on the floor and Davenport needed every bit of what he brought to the table to win a championship. He plays the game right and in order to win a championship you need that type of leadership and play from your guards.
Hit 9 threes in the quarterfinals against Napavine, nearly breaking a tournament record. He can shoot it and had one of the best looking jumpers in the tournament. It doesn’t take him long to get his shot off either. He hit some shots that were contested, but with his quick release he was able to get them off. A much needed secondary scoring option behind Kelson Gebbers Kelson Gebbers 6’6″ | SF Brewster | 2023 State WA and he played that role well.
Quincy is a talented scorer with great size and length on the perimeter. He came out on fire against Lake Roosevelt in the quarterfinals. It was much needed as Lake Roosevelt came out and had the lead in the 1st half. He had the first 8 points of the game for his team, and continued to get buckets throughout the game. In the 2nd half Burbank demolished LR. He and his teammates were clicking on all cylinders. He is only a Sophomore but you would never know it. He is excellent in the open floor and can finish at the rim with the best of them. He shoots it well from three and can play any position on the floor. His size and versatility is tough to match. He is a player that should be on the radar for college coaches.

Brewster came close to knocking off Davenport and winning the title. He was in some foul trouble but he was a big part of the run. They led for much of the title game. This kid was a winner. He was tough vs LRS in the semi-final. He is strong and big enough to muscle his way around on the block. Brewster adjusts to what works and he got a lot of big buckets in the paint. He did whatever it took to win. He isn’t a shooter like his brother Kelson Gebbers Kelson Gebbers 6’6″ | SF Brewster | 2023 State WA , but he works with what he does best. That is getting the ball in the low post and finishing at the rim as well as battling for rebounds. He was a double double guy most of the time for Brewster.
Despite some foul trouble, he was a difference maker in the post for MWP. He led the only team from District 4 to the trophy round, where they placed 4th. He was a man on the block when he was in the game. He was unstoppable in most situations. Once he gets the ball deep in the paint, he will likely get you a bucket.
Chase helped LRS make a good run at getting to the title game. They fell short and got beat in the semi-finals by Brewster, but he was solid throughout the tournament. He has great ability to get to the rim. Whether that be drives to the hoop or posting up. The majority of the time it was putting it on the floor and getting a bucket in the paint. He was an integral part of the run for the 9 seed LRS.
