Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis South and Washburn, Mahtomedi, Armstrong, Bloomington Jefferson, Columbia Heights, Stewartville, Byron and Holy Family. Games start at 1:30PM and the last game is schedule for 7:30 PM.</p>

<h2><strong>Minneapolis South vs Holy Family</strong></h2>

<p>Holy Family enters this game 8-1, and features two Division One Senior 2023 committed big guys, [player_tooltip player_id='962212' first='Boden' last='Kapke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1492564' first='Collin' last='Mulholland']. At guard that have Prep Hoops top 40 ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1287442' first='Kole' last='Hanson'] and feature two other Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1492567' first='Braylon' last='Cummings'] and Michael Richlsen. Those five are averaging 71.6 points-per-game with Hanson averaging 23 so far.</p>

<p>Minneapolis South has started the year a little more rough. They are 2-8 coming off a recent loss to Washburn. They are led by a pair of Junior guards, [player_tooltip player_id='1434055' first='Poet' last='Davis'] and James Underwood.</p>

<p>Minneapolis Washburn is off to an 4-10 start, but they've won two straight this week. Washburn is led by 2024 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1284167' first='Kyle' last='Jorgensen'] who is averaging nearly 23 points per game, 14 rebounds and blocking 2 shots per contest. The six-foot-nine-inch Junior is a massive young man in the middle. Also contributing to the Millers offense is [player_tooltip player_id='1402519' first='Blake' last='Bergren'], a six-foot-four-inch 2024 guard.</p>

<p>For Byron, they are 6-6, 500. The Bears are led by three players, [player_tooltip player_id='1297889' first='Tyler' last='Connelly'], Caleb Christenson, and [player_tooltip player_id='1575327' first='Max' last='Dearborn']. Connelly and Christenson are a pair six-foot-one-inch guard that lead the Bears attack. [player_tooltip player_id='1575327' first='Max' last='Dearborn'] is a six-foot-four-inch 2025 sophomore forward with a nice <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=159SPPXMkbE&ab_channel=MAXDEARBORN" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shooting stroke</a>.</p>

<p>After years of having the same core 3 or 4 players together, Columbia Heights is a new bunch. They are 4-5 coming into this match-up with Stewartville. Led by newcomer 2024 guard Randy McClendon and 2024 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1284156' first='Jency' last='Davis']. McClendon had a season high 42 point output versus Saint Anthony while Davis is speedy five-foot-seven-inch guard. [player_tooltip player_id='2361386' first='Boona' last='Morke'] is a six-foot-six-inch forward that offers length to the Columbia Heights front line.</p>

<p>Stewartville is coming into this game at at 7-3 being led by [player_tooltip player_id='1139594' first='Henry' last='Tschetter'], Tegan Malone, [player_tooltip player_id='1198613' first='Parker' last='Wangen'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1476739' first='Caleb' last='Bancroft']. Tschetter 2024 quick, six-foot-four-inch guard leading the charge. Wangen and Bancroft are two 2025 sophomores that offer a little more inside presence for Stewartville.</p>

<p>Bloomington Jefferson features the highest ranked prospect in the Southside Showcase, six-foot-two-inch point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1151197' first='Daniel' last='Freitag']. Freitag has offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Baylor and he's coming into the game averaging 31 points per game. He's backed up by 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2103381' first='Marcus' last='Horton'] and a pair of Senior's, Reece Washington and Gavin Luick.</p>

<p>Armstrong is led by 2024 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1284213' first='Seth' last='Newbern'], and flanked by 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1448601' first='Desmond' last='Ware']. Newbern is leading the Falcons in scoring at 17 points per game followed by solid outside shooter, 2023 Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1140532' first='Owen' last='Skram']. 2023 Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1345985' first='Leroy' last='Barnes'] adds depth to the Falcons.</p>

<p>Minnehaha Academy is led by two dynamic under six-foot guards, Jerome Williams and [player_tooltip player_id='1499627' first='Lorenzo' last='Levy'] while they have emerging forward [player_tooltip player_id='1221177' first='Rolyns' last='Aligbe']. Williams is a quick, good spot-up outside shooter, and Levy, quick, hard nosed guard. Aligbe offers Minnehaha not just points (16 per game), but rebounds (8.5 per game) and blocks (2.8 per game). </p>

<p>Mahtomedi is the opposite at guard compared to Minnehaha. Underwood is six-foot-one-inch Senior and Carlson is six-foot-four-inch Senior. They combine to score 43.7 points-per-game. Along with [player_tooltip player_id='1430801' first='Cole' last='Armitage'] (13.7 ppg) and AJ McCleery (9 ppg) Mahtomedi has potent offense. </p>
