Collin absolutely stuffed the stat sheet last night in a win for Holy Family. The senior big man finished the game with an impressive 25 points, 11 rebounds, 13 blocks, and 5 steals in 32 minutes of play. He can cover so much ground in one stride, and when you combine that with timing and quickness off the ground, it allowed him to slide into space to send shots flying off the court when Eden Valley-Watkins looked to attack. On the offensive end he showed his quick spin move on the baseline and soft touch around the basket. His high-low action with

is one of the hardest combinations to stop in the state as both of them finish at a high level and have the height to face up and see over the top of defenders to deliver an accurate pass. Mulholland also flashed the outside shooting touch as he went 3-5 from beyond the arc, including a pair from the NBA line.

Collin had one of his best scoring games of the year finishing with a team high 25 points in the win. Was dangerous in high-low situations both as a passer and finisher. Was able to use his size to see over his man and deliver in accurate lob passes to his 6’11 frontcourt partner, but also did a great job of using his body to seal off his defender when he was the one in the paint, allowing him to catch and quickly go up to finish. Showed safe hands as he was keeping the ball secure amongst a swarm of guards looking to swipe the ball away. Also flashed the three point shot as he hit a pair of outside jumpers in the second half. Defensively he was a rim protecting threat in Holy Family’s 3-2 zone as he has good feet to slide into position, and is a quick leaper at his size allowing him to quickly elevate and just get a piece of the ball without having to swing his arms a lot.

Collin’s performance against East Ridge was the best I’ve seen him play during his time in Minnesota, and it made it clear why multiple D1 schools have been in to see him this fall. At 6’10 the size is clearly there, and his quickness off the floor allows him to make plays around the rim on both ends of the floor. Defensively he was blocking shots all over the floor, mixing in a few blocked jumpers on the perimeter with some highlight reel rejections at the basket. Offensively his versatile skillset really shined. Collin can stretch the floor from deep, can explode off the floor for dunks off the pick & roll, and is so dangerous catching and facing up in the short corner area. When on the baseline he can hit defenders with a quick spin move, jab and hit a mid-range shot, or rip through and put the ball on the floor to attack the basket. Intriguing 6’10 prospect that continues to improve.
