While the class is being recruited at a high level, there are some players who are slipping through the cracks. Here’s a look at some 2024s who are being under recruited at this time.
Kaydon checks all the boxes that coaches should value with his ability to score the ball at all 3 levels as well as play lockdown defense on the opposing team’s best player. His lack of scholarship offers at this point is very surprising and needs to change. Some school will get a steal with Kaydon on signing day (assuming he doesn’t opt to play football in college).
Highlights
Max had a huge Sophomore season and worked his way onto the radar for several D1 colleges this summer but has yet to earn his first scholarship offer. Green has a lot of tools and is likely to end up with multiple offers before signing day. On the court, Max is a really good shooter and is likely to send up more of a shooting guard than a point.
Tucker may be one of the best athletes in Louisville and has been terrorizing rims in the city since his Freshman season. Jacob is a volume scorer who can shoot the ball at a high level and is not afraid to attack the rim and finish through contact. Scholarship level schools in Kentucky need to prioritize seeing Tucker and Fairdale this season.
Kyran is one of the more overlooked players in the class and should get mentioned along with the 2024 guards who already hold scholarship offers. Tilley can facilitate for others or go and get a bucket when needed. He knows how to run a team but is one of the better lockdown defenders when he really sits down and guards opposing points.
