Austin Sperry Austin Sperry 6'3" | SG Breathitt County | 2025 State KY , Breathitt County – The freshman is off to a hot start for Breathitt. He put up 22 points on Monday in the opening round of the All A. An impressive 10/13 from the floor in his first game, Sperry is a 6’2 wing who did most of his damage at the rim in the season opener. If he can continue his scoring exploits, Austin could be the next big thing in the mountains.
Bol Kuir Bol Kuir 7'3" | C Belfry | 2022 State KY , Belfry – The literal big thing in the mountains right now is Kuir. Bol arrived at Belfy by way of West Virginia this summer and had 17 points and 14 rebounds on Tuesday night against Prestonsburg. In his first high school game, Kuir had 17 points and 14 rebounds and announced his presence in the 15th region.
Will Furnish Will Furnish 6'11" | C Harrison County | 2023 KY , Harrison County – Furnish is raw but he has legitimate size (he’s at least 6’9) and moves fairly well. His timing is a little off on shot blocking which causes him to get fouls and he has to keep improving as a finisher around the rim but you can’t teach his size and the fact that he can move well looks good for his development.
Cole Mills Cole Mills 6'2" | CG Marshall County | 2023 State KY , Marshall County – Mills came to our PH 250 expo in 2019 and had a good day. Then we didn’t hear anything about him for a year. Turns out he transferred from Mayfield to Marshall County. In the season opener, Cole scored 34 and followed up the next night with 16 in another win.
Trent Edwards Trent Edwards 6'8" | PF George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY , George Rogers Clark – Stock is trending way up for Edwards. Against Harrison County, his length caused all kinds of problems on the top of the press and he had several steals. Through 2 games, Trent is averaging 20 points and 10.5 rebounds and shooting over 60% from the field.
