Prep Hoops Ranking: 19
A late spring injury kept Tiutczenko off the court in June and July. That didn’t help his recruitment. But Winona State coach Todd Eisner saw enough of the sweet-shooting big man at the Prep Hoops Battle of the Lakes event in mid May and recently extended a DII offer to Pewaukee’s top returning player. Competing for the 24: UP program, Tiutczenko turned in several outstanding performances at Battle of the Lakes. He has excellent size, good strength and extremely impressive skills. Tiutczenko can knock down perimeter shots with the best of them, but also can use his physicality to get to the basket and score in the lane.

Tiutczenko was outstanding in 24: UP ‘s impressive 69-68 victory over the Wisconsin Playmakers P32 squad. He used his size and toughness to hold off opponents while snatching down huge rebounds on the defensive end while spotting up and drilling six three-point baskets on the offensive side of things. Tiutczenko’s skill level, particularly his shooting from deep, is his No. 1 asset. His size and strength also are strong areas. He is a player who figures to pick up NCAA Division II and, possibly, some Division I offers in the coming days and weeks since his combination of size, strength and skill are in such demand for the next level.

When you are 6-foot-7 with good physical strength AND can step outside and drill the three-point shot, you tend to attract the attention of college coaches. Tiutczenko is that guy for 24: UP . He had six triples and 20 points in a 69-67 loss to EIG Midwest. Tiuticzenko also did a good job of battling on the glass on both ends of the court, and he is a good passer while facing the basket. The Pewaukee forward currently does not own a offer from a scholarship school, but that figures to change in the very near future thanks to his versatility, size and skill.

You won’t find many guys 6’7+ who can shoot it like Tyler can. After already having Luka and Milan Momcilovic, Pewaukee has another 6’7 forward who can stretch the floor with his outside shot. Against a tough Minnesota Fury team, Tyler came out and hit his first four shots of the game, racking up 11 points in just a few minutes. He has a quick release at his size, and at 6’7 does a great job of getting his feet set off the move, allowing him to catch already in his shooting motion. Scored in double-figures in all four of 24:UP’s games over the weekend.

Due to his ability to knock down shots outside the arc and use his size and strength to score near the basket, Tiutczenko figures to get plenty of looks from scholarship-level schools in the next few months. His production and activity were impressive for 24: UP UA Rise as they cruised to a big win over Team 1848 . Tiutczenko buried several triples early in the game, and he then later he did a good job of running the floor and beating defenders to the basket to score at the rim. He is a good passer, solid finisher and impressive shooter. All at 6-foot-7.
