About Birkir
Expert Analysis

It seemed like every time 24: UP needed a basket in its competitive outing with Pro Lane , Eythorsson stepped up to either score off the glass in the paint or knock down a back-breaking three-point shot. A senior who competes with DME’s prep school program in Delafield, Eythorsson scored 18 points and had a pair of triples in 24: UP ‘s win. He flashed good athleticism, a very good skill set and a strong feel for the game. Birkir had several lower-level NCAA Division I programs interested last fall, but his recruiting attention has fallen off a bit lately due to the activity in the transfer portal. Still, he figures to end up at a Division I program before the start of next school year and his play Sunday at Madness in the Midwest in Appleton certainly cemented his status as a player of that level.
