Playoffs often bring out the best in seniors, the best example of this was how Bradley closed out the third quarter. After Wallace had drained a tough and deep three for Community Christian to cut into the lead, there were only a few seconds remaining in the third. Bradley quickly got the ball down the court and drilled his own deep three to keep the Irish’s lead at 5 points going into the final frame.
Not satisfied with the 5 point lead, Bradley continued applying pressure with transition points. In the halfcourt he often got downhill to score for himself or set up his teammates with good looks. He scored a team high 19 points in the victory. The senior has a silky way with how he drives by opponents, and looked more willing to get downhill and attacking, instead of settling for jumpers.

Game Watched: vs NewcastlernBradley plays with great pace as he has some of the better handles in the state. With his combination of handles and size, there is a gliding aspect to his game when he gets down hill. He never seems to be going “that fast”, but he’s often able to gain separation from defenders to hit in the midrange or get to the rim. When he does draw extra help from defenders Bradley can breakout some great vision and passing ability to set up his teammates.

. The senior would finish with 18 points in a very balanced evening. Bradley had just about everything going for him on Thursday as he got started in the first half by cleaning up the offensive glass and getting the majority of his production in the paint and near the rim. But Bradley also had his jumper working for him as well and he would step out of the paint and knock down some big shots. Bradley had an outstanding offseason and he’s continued that momentum into his senior year.

A crafty scorer off the bounce, McGuinness is back in the 4A ranks after being a State Tournament team in Class 5A. Bradley scored around 15 a game last year, but look for that number to rise at the Irish will make noise in the loaded Class 4A landscape. Bradley has some of the better handles in 4A, and they’ll be a big factor in why he’ll able to dice up defenses on drives.

Similar to Cincotta at Edmond Santa Fe, we also expect a rise in production this winter from Bishop McGuinness senior guard

. The senior guard was part of an Irish team that made it back to the state tournament as he was the second leading scorer at nearly 15 points per game. With the leading scorer graduated, we expect Bradley to fill that role on the team this season. Bradley certainly has the ability to go off on any given night and could end up making 20-25 points look relatively easy. That’s what we got used to seeing throughout the spring and summer from him while playing travel ball. The expectations are high for Bradley and Bishop McGuinness heading into this season. The biggest challenge will be McGuinness dropping down to Class 4A. And as we mentioned, it’s absolutely loaded this year.
