After promising moments as a sophomore, Ososanya appears to be putting it together as a hard nosed defender. Even had a chase down block in transition. Made lots of plays during the comeback with quick feet and quick hands. Including a steal to get a top with the game tied at 55 all in the closing seconds. Gets paint touches on offense, scoring himself or making good feeds. Makes for a great one-two, energetic and quick guard punch with sophomore Nelson.

Ososanya has had some intriguing flashes in a couple different viewings for the Irish. Long arms make him a nuisance on the defensive end, especially as he has the quick feet to match when pressuring on the ball. A flash play he did make on the offensive end, was an acrobatic layup finish in a win over Classen SAS. Strong body control to avoid defenders, and made use of his long arms to have a release angle most players don’t have. Name to monitor in a good 2027 and 2028 group for the Irish.
