Already a notable perimeter shotmaker, particularly off the catch, Matkin follows a productive summer with steady improvements as an on-ball creator. Continuing to improve his live dribble decisionmaking deep in the paint, he surveys the floor for the extra pass, often to rolling forwards around the rim. Effective making the extra pass with either hand around the defense, his off the dribble playmaking has taken notable strides in the past few months.
