We got three different looks this summer af Warren and each time out he found a way to stand out. That’s usually a pretty good indication that there’s something worth for and his game being consistent. I like his feel for the game and how often he makes the simple play rather than trying to prove too much. Warren got out to the Freshman showcase and showed that he could stretch the floor, rebound and even start the break himself, while other the Summer games highlighted his size, rim protection and ability to finish inside. There’s versatility to work with. His high school will ask him to process things faster and find where he fits, but if Warren keeps defending, rebounding and making good decisions, the rest of his game can grow around those dependable pieces.

Warren showed a versatile skill set throughout the showcase, impacting the game both as a shooter and a frontcourt rebounder. He knocked down threes when given space, forcing defenders to respect his ability to stretch the floor. Warren also rebounded well and immediately looked to push the pace, grabbing the ball and starting the break himself. That ability to contribute on the glass and turn rebounds into transition opportunities added another dimension to his game and made him a valuable piece on both ends

Warren was a major presence for Rocky Mountain Rebound, using his size to control the paint on both ends of the floor. He protected the rim at a high level, altering shots and making opponents think twice before attacking the basket. His length and physicality allowed him to anchor the defense while also controlling space around the rim. Offensively Warren showed he can be a reliable scorer, finishing efficiently in the paint and taking advantage of his size inside. His combination of rim protection, interior scoring and physical tools makes him an exciting prospect with plenty of potential as he continues to develop

Warren is a player who makes the watch list as he’s a player who turned heads with the way he embraced the defensive side of the ball early this Spring.  He has no problems pressuring opposing guards, he speeds up actions, and he was a consistent disruptor on that end of the floor. That is how you earn minutes as a young guy.  Offensively, there were flashes of real playmaking as he has feel and made a couple of finishes through contact. He’s still piecing things together overall, but the defensive instincts and ability to impact both ends make him a player we’ll intentionally go watch again this Summer.

Warren impressed with his defensive presence and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. As an on ball defender, he made life difficult for opposing guards by applying consistent pressure and creating a lot of turnovers. His defensive effort helped disrupt offensive rhythm and forced opponents into picking up the ball. Offensively, Warren demonstrated solid vision and playmaking ability, facilitating for teammates and keeping the offense organized. He also showed the capability to attack the basket, finishing inside even through contact. His balance of defensive intensity and offensive contribution makes him a well rounded player.
