is a shifty combo guard who gets his way on offense 9 out of 10 times down the floor. Featuring a flashy set of handles and a smooth jumpshot, Valencia has come up huge for the Rocky Mountain Lobos. Producing a consistent 9.5 PPG and 2.4 APG while being second on his team in scoring, Valencia continues to show up and show out time and time again. When Valencia gets on a heater, it’s very difficult for defenses to catch up with. This past AAU season, Valencia was confident and always shot ready. That same mentality hasn’t budged a bit since.

is a true facilitating combo guard who’s patient with the ball and finds open guys easily. Valencia excels at driving downhill and capitalizing on difficult finishes at the rim. Embarrassing defenders and knocking down three balls is what makes Valencia the offensive superstar he is. At the Expo, Valencia was able to make plays and thrive on both offense and defense.

can fry defenses and swing the rock around quickly for constant scoring. Valencia impacts the game in a multitude of ways, but defense is where he shines brightest, always being in the middle of passing lanes and reading defenses exceptionally well. With a crafty arsenal of tricks on offense, Valencia should be the primary concern for opponents.
Valencia has always had a relentless motor, finding ways to impact the game in more areas than the box sheet can show. Hitting a high rate from distance, he has become an essential complementary component towards Rocky Mountain’s competitiveness on a game by game basis.
Valencia provided consistent floor spacing off the catch, confident regardless of incoming contests. A large part of what allows Valencia playing time at this stage is his defensive impact, as he constantly flies around for rebounds and loose balls. Truly playing bigger than most names at his height, he allows this group to play three guard lineups thanks to his motor.
Valencia’s high motor on the glass and defensive end makes him a consistent producer within the backcourt. Creating opportunities just from his hustle, there are not many names in this class who work on the margins like him. As well as an improving three point shooter, the guard continues to round out his offensive game. His willingness to attack the rim has been a dependable factor for the guard, prepared to pick out driving lanes when available.
Valencia should get an opportunity this season with Rocky Mountain, bringing a high motor defensively and a budding offensive skillset. Grabbing about as many blocks as any perimeter prospect from the sophomore grouping, he was constantly altering shot attempts from opponents. Offensively, he took what the defense gave him, contributing open threes or attacking opposing closeouts before the defense could set their feet.
