Allen made a strong impression with his activity and physical presence around the basket. He consistently crashed the boards on both ends of the floor, using his positioning and effort to secure rebounds in traffic. Offensively, Allen showed an understanding of how to establish position inside, allowing him to convert opportunities at the rim. He was particularly effective at following his own misses or capitalizing on offensive rebounds, going back up quickly and finishing plays.
