Walker, a forward out of the Brooks School, impressed with his athleticism and defensive versatility. Walker first catches the eye pregame, with his above the rim athleticism and incredibly long frame. On the floor, he covers ground quickly, allowing him to be a presence in passing lanes and to erase shots around the rim from the help side. He’s a terrific rim runner in transition, has the ability to attack the basket as a straight line driver, and shows a willingness to operate as a ball-mover or screen in the half-court. His best basketball is clearly still ahead of him.
