Jay Anderson

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

A defensive menace who made his impact right away, pressuring the ball full-court and forcing turnovers; played with a contagious energy that others fed off of and played well with; quite the leader given his prowess as a “lead by example” type of guard, something not seen much on the hardwood nowadays

Rounding out this list of players generating buzz is Irmo and Team Unleashed’s Marcus Gleaton Jr Marcus Gleaton Jr 5'10" | PG Gray Collegiate Academy | 2030 SC . Marcus is already high up on my list of 8th-grade guards in the Palmetto State, and like Kirksey, he had a sick highlight to help him create some steam around his name. Gleaton Jr has a busy role setting up some elite talent around him, but he seems to have an excellent feel for playmaking at a young age.
