Lincoln had a few missed shots that I’m sure he’d like to get back, but he makes this list for his rebounding on Monday night. He pulled in 12 boards, and it seemed like every missed Armstrong shot was ending up in his hands. Lincoln does a nice job of finding a body to boxout as soon as a shot goes up, and he attacks it out of the air with two hands. Once it’s in his possession, he’s not going to cough at up as he chins the ball hard and will pivot hard to find an outlet pass. Offensively he still found some success out of the block as he has solid footwork, a strong base, and the touch to score with either hand. Added 15 points and a pair of assists to his rebounding tally.

Lincoln put together a productive game on both ends for Maple Grove on Wednesday night. The unsigned senior big turned the first possession of the game into two points as he caught on the block, spun towards the baseline, and finished on the opposite side of the rim. Throughout the game he was turning just about any paint touch he got into two points as he has the strength to power through contact, footwork to create good angles, and touch to finish at a high percentage. Does a great job of keeping the ball high after pulling in an offensive board and quickly going back up with hit before the defense can react. Defensively he does a great job of walling up when defending the rim, and is tough to move on the block. Palbicki ended the game with 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Lincoln was effective in the paint in Friday’s matchup with Totino-Grace. He is a fantastic rebounder and knows where to position himself to grab boards. I really liked the way he attacked the ball on offensive rebounds as they led to multiple second chance baskets for himself. He relied on a right-handed hook shot in a couple of different scenarios in the post, making him very difficult to guard for opponents. He finished the game with a team-high 14 points and also impressed me in the pick and roll. Palbicki and the Crimson have exceeded expectations so far this season as they are now sitting at 6-2.

is a six-foot-ten-inch Center from Maple Grove high school. Palbicki since his Freshman year has shown an ability to pop to the perimeter and make jumpers. Size is Palbicki’s strong skill as he uses his big body to muscle smaller players out of the lane and out rebound smaller opponents. Palbicki has nimble feet and a soft touch around the basket as well. On post-ups Palbicki has a good right baby hook.
