Raoul did everything he could to keep Maple Grove in the game but just fell short in the final minutes. He is so shifty with the ball in his hands and was successfully blowing by Osseo defenders all night. He had an elite string of moves, finishing it off with a contested layup to get the crowd on their feet. He hit his defender with a crossover then a spin move to create his separation. Vaidya was also a threat to score from outside, connecting with some shots off the dribble and in the catch and shoot. He scored a team-high 22 points and was the main reason the Crimson were in the game to the very end. Hamline got a major steal with the addition of Raoul who committed a couple weeks ago.

Armstrong had the lead after one half as they were finding success speeding the game up and getting out in transition. During the 2nd half Raoul seemed to calm things down for his team, and made it a different game. He was in control of the tempo, and was facilitating at a high level. Mixing in some simple swing passes, with pick & roll and drive & kick assists. If you were open, Raoul was likely going to find you, and his vision allowed him to dish out 8 assists on the game. Also showed he’s a threat to score on his own as he hit a few outside shots on his way to 13 points in the win.
