Knowledge Wright Knowledge Wright 5'9" | PG Desert Pines | 2028 CA-N is another new name in the top 10. He has a ton of shake and slips right by defenders to drain mid-range jumpers. He also punches the brakes to create seperation and he has a solid 3-point shot. In addition to his scoring and shooting, Wright creates quality looks for his teammates with his passing. On the the other end of the court, he utilizes his quickness to make an impact.

Showed a quick burst off the dribble, beating defenders to the spot and attacking the paint with very few dribbles. He attacked gaps with purpose, forcing the defense to collapse before delivering timely passes to open teammates. His feel for the game and decision-making stood out, routinely making the right read and putting teammates in position to score. His combination of speed, pace, and playmaking made him a difficult matchup throughout the event.

Knowledge Wright (pictured) put his tight handles and acceleration on full display with the Jaguars. He is much shiftier than defenders expect, which allows him to create a decent amount of separation. He dropped in jumpers and also got to the cup a few times. Plus he was facilitating the offense and setting up his teammates for quality looks. On the other end of the court, he used his speed, effort, and IQ to be a difference maker. All in all, I was a big fan of what he brought to the table and how he competed.

Rainier Beach returns eight key contributors from last year’s squad, and part of their massive success last season was due to their depth of talent. Wright is a perfect example of that depth. He will pair with KJ Hightower KJ Hightower 6'2" | CG Rainier Beach | 2027 State WA to make sure the ball flows and the talented cast around them continue to eat. Wright is a very skilled ball handler with the quickness to weave in and out of defenses, and the toughness to continually attack inside. He’s shown great touch attacking around the paint, and his pace and ability to get into gaps puts a lot of pressure on defenses to execute rotations.

Wright is yet another talented young guard at Rainier Beach, showcasing a mix of confidence and awareness that has helped him secure solid minutes at the point. He has some blazing speed, and his ability to stop, go, and throw defenders with his eyes has shown up in a big way with his takes to the rim, as well as some great passing and decision-making in transition.

Wright is a true point guard set to dominate the court in the upcoming season. His elite ball-handling skills allow him to navigate the floor effortlessly while keeping his eyes peeled for any open teammates. Knowledge delivers pinpoint passes that land perfectly in the shooting pocket, enabling his teammates to make easy baskets. When defenders leave him open, he confidently drains shots from deep, making him a dual-threat on the offensive end.

Wright is a point guard who has shown some incredible feel for the game and has some of the most pure point guard instincts of any player in his class. He scores efficiently around the paint and can drop in shots from outside, but his strength is his intuition, his ability to control the game and defenses, get to his spots, and get everyone involved in scoring the ball. He’s a smooth dribbler who plays at his own speed and should get a big boost in his role next season.

Wright is not only one of the best players in his class, he already has the skills to be a key player on perhaps the most talented team in the state. He’s going to have an impact because he already plays with great court vision, he can hit from three, and he plays with pace while staying under control.
