Wafer is an intriguing long-term prospect because of his physical and athletic makeup which is highlighted by his high motor and ability to defend multiple positions. The wiry and bouncy 6-foot-6 wing wasn’t a statistical monster throughout the camp games but he kept showing flashes of potential as an athletic slashing and finishing wing who, with continued work on ball skills and shooting, can be an inside-out scoring threat.

A long still growing forward has good instincts around the basket, plays mostly under control has good timing going after blocks, and patience balancing himself going up for buckets around the rim. We saw one and two dribbles to get into his shot for paint points. He’ll probably get some seasoning at the JV level before going up to the Varsity. A rebounder, shot blocker, runs the court can finish with dunks.
