Used his strong frame to make an impact on the defensive end, playing with physicality, staying connected to his matchup, and not allowing opposing guards to create easy driving angles. Offensively, he stayed shot-ready on every catch stepping into catch-and-shoot threes without hesitation. He also used dribble handoffs effectively, getting to his mid-range pull-up under control with good pace and balance.

Bagley brought a balanced game on both ends of the floor. Despite his youth, he is physical and can create problems for opponents while maintaining a high level of play without fouling. While he had a few miscues, he was a defensive menace.

Bagley played an overall very efficient game. He wisely picked his spots offensively, taking only shots within the flow of the offense. He also used his body very well to keep defenders at a disadvantage. His play in this game showed his growth, and it will only get better.

Carter put on a shooting clinic and a good defensive showing. Carter was hot from deep and hit 6 three’s on the night. When he caught the ball he was loaded up ready to shoot. He also took on a lot of the ball handling duties and showed he is capable of being a lead guard. Carter set the tone on defense for the Knights and was disrupting ball handlers all night long. Carter can have a break out year for the Knights. He had 23 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assist and 2 steals.
