Michael has delivered all season for Northfield, and he’s entering the tournament with all the momentum after drilling a game winner as time expired in the regular season finale. Averaging 22.6 points per game, he plays with pace but never out of control, dictating tempo while staying poised in big moments. He keeps himself involved in every possession, crashes the glass and instantly turns rebounds into transition opportunities. His leadership, confidence and ability to take over late make him the engine. If Northfield makes a City League run, it will be because Michael refuses to let them lose

If you’ve seen Northfield play the last few seasons, then you’ve seen 6’5 forward Judah Michael Judah Michael 6'5" | PF Northfield | 2026 State CO put together some big games. He has excellent footwork, soft touch around the rim, and he’s an offensive nightmare for anybody guarding him. He’s coming up on 1,000 points scored, and that’s only in 3 seasons. He’s added the 3-ball to his game, a dangerous face game, and counter moves to continue to strike. He’s up to 23.3 points a game and is who everything goes through. The team goes as he goes, and this is an incredible accomplishment that not many have done with Northfield being a newer school. He’ll go into the history books. 

Judah Michael Judah Michael 6'5" | PF Northfield | 2026 State CO is an offensive juggernaut who never lets off the gas pedal. Able to rip through and gain an extra step on his matchup, Michael’s shot creating and creativity stands out, as he’s earning 24.7 PPG, 8.3 RPG. Not to mention his pride in good defense, coming up with 4.3 SPG. Aside from leading his team in virtually every stat category, Michael has consistently shown improvement season to season, and I look forward seeing what more he can do this January.

Michael sticks to his matchup like glue, and his size, combined with his agility and speed, makes him able to guard every position one through five. Averaging 27 PPG, 7 RPG, and 4.3 blocks per game, there truly is no limit to Michael’s potential. Stay tuned for Michael to continue climbing rankings and impressing college coaches in his last high school season.

Judah Michael Judah Michael 6'5" | PF Northfield | 2026 State CO , take a bow. What a start to the year for him, and the performance that he had against Thunder Ridge had to be the top performance so far. He’s putting up 28 points a game through the first two contest, and he had an impressive game of 39 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and a win in the marquee matchup of two of the state’s top bigs. He had 5 made 3 pointers and proved to be a mismatch in every game, but a game like that gets your confidence going. Michael had a solid summer where he showed out, and is ready to cap off a stellar career with a big push. Michael is a prospect that I feel should be on PLENTY more radars. He’s the No.2 prospect in the class, and with him playing like this and putting the team on his back, he has an argument as the top dog if he can keep this up. We’ll continue to watch him this year and expect a HUGE season from him. 

Judah Michael Judah Michael 6'5" | PF Northfield | 2026 State CO 15-21 

Michael is a player who will be making a jump, and it is simply because there are not many players in the state who can do what he does on the floor. He’s an offensively gifted player who plays at all 3-levels, he scores in bunches, and his size is overwhelming for defenders. When he gets in a groove, he’s able to single-handedly take over a game, and he also has the junior season and summer to back it up as well. Michael is a player who will help a school at the next level and is one of the state’s best athletes. His upside is unreal ,and he will make a jump this go-round. 

Michael is a strong guard who can move around opposing defenders while attacking the rim, opening up his opportunities through an improved handle this season. Bringing the strength to guard multiple positions in the backcourt and frontcourt, he is a versatile option who can switch onto opponents as needed. Leading this group in points per game, his strength and ball skills have allowed the guard to begin unlocking his upside in the backcourt.

Michael brings plenty of intrigue given his dependable impact for 5A Northfield’s final four run. Bringing in a particularly strong frame, they did well guarding multiple positions and competing on the glass. Particularly active without the ball, Michael looks to find opportunities on cuts, effective finishing through contact when necessary. His continued growth along the perimeter will be worth following, although the wing brings in plenty of defensive production out of the gates.
