Langford made an impact last year but looks poised for a breakout season based on the way he seems to perform and wow us throughout the last couple summers. He continues to be one of the more impressive guards to watch thanks to his excellent ball handling, confidence and ability to create offense. His control with the ball in his hands allows him to get to his spots and make plays under pressure. Langford plays with an aggressive mentality and is always looking to put pressure on defenses as a scorer. Whether attacking the basket or creating opportunities from the perimeter, he consistently finds ways to impact the game. If his summer success carries over, expect him to be a major contributor for Northfield and one of the players to watch this season

Langford continues to be one of the most enjoyable players to watch, putting together a strong showing at the tournament. The forward plays with a high motor, consistently working to get open and make an impact on both ends. His ability to stretch the floor with his three point shooting stood out, while also showing comfort scoring at all three levels. He mixed in a soft floater and attacked off the bounce, getting downhill and finishing through contact. What separated him was his feel from making the right reads, keeping the ball moving and creating opportunities for teammates. With his versatility and approach, he’s set up for a big summer ahead

Langford’s athleticism jumps out immediately, and when he’s attacking downhill, he’s tough to contain. That was on display on Day 1 and put his team in a good spot. He knocked down a perimeter shot, finished inside, and made plays in transition. The moment that stood out on the day was a putback dunk that showcased his bounce and timing. There’s a lot of upside here. As his motor and consistency continue to rise, so will his impact, but he’s a player to keep on your radar as it appears to be all coming along.

Langford made the switch over to Northfield and is a player who your eyes gravitate towards due to his ability to do what the game asks of him. At times, it’s scoring, at others it’s rebounding and making his mark on the defensive end of the floor, and he answers the call. He’s averaging 9.1 points a game on a team whose 8-1. He’s a downhill attacker whose athleticism gives him advantages. He can affect the game with his work ethic and defensive versatility, and that makes him the team’s X-factor. He makes a rise in the rankings with his work to begin the year and think he has an even more dynamic finish. We’re excited to see his production moving forward. 

Bahati has stepped into varsity and immediately boosted Northfield’s attack as a welcome sign for his new team. He’s a downhill scorer who fits perfectly as one of the formidable trios. What also stands out is his efficiency. His 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals average highlights his value, and the 18-5-3 performance in a breakout game showcases his ceiling. He’s helping an undefeated team stay rolling and has quickly become a real piece to the puzzle as his confidence continues to grow. Keep an eye out for Bahati.

Active on defense, Langford enjoys making his matchup’s life harder, poking at the ball, and creating turnover opportunities in transition. A bowling ball when attacking the rim, good luck to any defender getting in Langford’s way. Look out for Langford to continue dominating this year.

Bahati Langford Bahati Langford 6'2" | SG/PG Northfield | 2028 State CO utilizes his size to attack the rim and dictate the tempo on both sides of the ball. Langford does a great job of switching screens and hedging when needed. Rebounds are a sure thing when Langford is on the floor, as he always crashes the glass and battles inside. At 6’2, Langford brings a wide wingspan that he uses to tally up the steal column with.

Langford didn’t have a summer where we got to see much of him so this is his make-up opportunity, and we expect him to take full advantage. He’s a physical, downhill attacker with a chip on his shoulder who thrives when surrounded by the top talent. He’s at his best showcasing his athleticism, toughness, and ability to impose his will. This showcase gives him the stage to set the tone for his season and prove he’s ready for a bigger role and more recognition. I can’t think of better opportunities than this one to prove it.

At his best when attacking downhill, Langford uses his strength and body control to finish through contact and create problems for defenders in space. But don’t overlook his ability to stretch the floor he has shown flashes of range that keep defenses honest. What stands out most is his ability to sense mismatches and capitalize on them quickly. Whether bringing the ball up, defending multiple positions, or crashing the glass, Langford’s versatility gives coaches a lot to work with. He’s steadily earning his way into more responsibility at George Washington, and if his confidence keeps trending up, he could take a significant step forward this season. Langford has all the tools, now it’s about stringing it all together consistently.

Langford showcased his athleticism and motor all weekend, playing with relentless energy on both ends of the floor. He consistently crashed the boards, rising over defenders for rebounds and second chance points. Defensively, Langford was a force, altering shots at the rim, blocking drives, and applying suffocating pressure on ball handlers.
