About Jadiel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a physical and aggressive big man who thrives in the paint. I use my strength to establish position, finish through contact, and dominate the boards on both ends. I bring a high level of intensity, set strong screens, and create second-chance opportunities with my rebounding. I take pride in playing tough interior defense and being a reliable presence in the post

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ve got a grinder’s mentality — I’m all about putting in work, staying disciplined, and getting better every day. I take pride in doing the dirty work, holding down the paint, and being reliable for my team. I’m competitive, focused, and always looking to improve my game and my body.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of the New York Gauchos AAU basketball program, where I’ve kept up a strong commitment to my development and team success. I’ve also earned three MVP trophies and helped my team win a championship at the Made Hoops event.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing with the New York Gauchos has really helped me build leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to communicate on and off the court, keep my teammates locked in, and lead by example through my work ethic. I’ve also developed discipline, patience, and a strong competitive mindset — I push myself and my teammates to get better every day.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges like injuries and tough competition, but I’ve learned to use them as fuel. Every setback just pushes me to work harder and come back stronger

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me both on and off the court — a program that values hard work, discipline, and player development. I want coaches who believe in team culture and can help me grow as a player and a person, while also pushing me academically.
