He instantly finished a lob catch attempt that turned into a catch and one. He knocked down a three from the right wing with a fluid stroke, added a baseline runner, and hit another three from the right corner. He showed unassuming athleticism multiple times throughout the game, then followed with a catch and shoot three from the left corner and another from the right. He displayed real shooting fluidity and found his rhythm early. He later delivered an impressive vertical dunk in transition off two feet and capped his performance with yet another right‑corner three.

A player I really like. Aggressive & explosive downhill with eye catching vertical athleticism. Played hard & physical on defense, including on switches & rebounding. Brings the ultimate NY swag to the position. Always in attack mode. Possesses a variety of finishing ability at the rim. Perimeter shot a work in progress but showed good form, willingness & ability to get off with quickness. More reps look for that part of his game to improve. Kone is an offensive catalyst finding different ways to put the ball in the bucket. He was effective filling the lane in transition and had good touch around the bucket. Kone was in the right place at the right times to make plays. He plays with an active motor. I like how he was able to impact the game in all different facets. He is a prospect who should be a name to monitor over the next several years in the tri-state area.
