could explode as a star in southern Indiana this season. While a sophomore, he didn’t get much playing time as most of the team were juniors and seniors. When Wilkerson got into the game however, he made the most of his opportunity. Shooting efficiently from the field, he will average more points per game in an increased junior role. His 46 percent shooting from the field on over just 60 shots shows that he can put the ball in the basket at a good rate.

Wikerson has really blossomed this spring with Progeny 16u. The talented 6’3″ wing was a role player as a sophomore on the Class 4A State Championship Jeffersonville team, but is now proving that he is ready to take over the reigns as one of the primary contributors next season. He has such a well-rounded game scoring both on the perimeter and around the basket consistent while possessing excellent athletic and physical tools. Wilkerson has been one of the more consistently impressive prospects this spring among the state’s current sophomore class.

Wilkerson played in 24 games averaging 3.2 points per game for the Class 4A State Champion Jeffersonville Red Devils. Now, the 6’3″ sophomore wing is experiencing a breakout spring as he is able to take on a much larger role for Progeny – UA Rise. He displayed his versatility throughout the weekend shooting it in from three-point range, using his positional size to score inside, and flashing some playmaking ability off of the bounce. Wilkerson is a well-rounded prospect with a good deal of upside. Progeny went 4-0 on the weekend.

Admittedly his buckets came in the fourth quarter after some substitutions, but we’ve seen Wilkerson start games for the Red Devils this season as well. The 6’2″ sophomore wing is definitely one to remember as Jeffersonville gets hit with the graduation of eight seniors following this season.
