Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo – Team 6 Evaluations

All of our events at Prep Hoops Indiana generate a lot of attention across the state. However, the growth of The Expo is a major point of pride for our team as we wrap up the summer. This year we double the size of the event bringing in nearly 120 prospects in the Classes of 2027 and 2028. Also, more than just the raw numbers, the level of talent was very impressive. We hosted over 40 Top 100 prospects today and had college coaches from the Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels in attendance. This was truly one of the best exposure events of the year that you could attend as a prospect.   As always, we will be unleashing a ton of content over the next week or so coming out of The Expo. We will have evaluations of every player in attendance post on a team-by-team basis. Also, top performers, new names, and more will be highlighted.   If you did not receive an evaluation please contact Brandon Ramsey directly via Twitter DM or email at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com    One of the best performances from any player that I got a chance to watch at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo came from 2028 wing [player_tooltip player_id='3139596' first='Landon' last='Kralis']. It started during the 3v3 session, where Kralis caught fire and was scoring at all levels. At 6'3", he has a long yet stocky build that gives him an advantage in nearly every area. He can knock down the three-ball and use his strong lower body to explode through the defense in the lane.     One of the better three-and-D guys that I had a chance to watch over the weekend at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo was [player_tooltip player_id='2520999' first='Maksim' last='Radovich']. Coming out of a Fishers program that is just loaded with talent, this was a chance for Radovich to shine in a more focused event. He spaces the floor very well and does not take bad shots. He competes on the defensive end as well.     One of the top prospects in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo was, without question, [player_tooltip player_id='2622021' first='Jacob' last='Wilkerson']. Transferring from Jeffersonville to New Albany this offseason, Wilkerson showed just why he is going to be a strong piece for the Bulldogs this upcoming season. He was phenomenal in the lane, using his length and athletic ability to make all sorts of plays going downhill. He is a high-level rebounder, has good on-ball skills for his position, and can tear the rim off the backboard if he gets the chance.     One of the top rising stars in the in-state 2027 class who participated in the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo was [player_tooltip player_id='2194347' first='Devin' last='Colbert Jr']. out of Decatur High School. Although he is on the shorter end, this guy is a quick playmaker who can push the pace very well. He was really active on the defensive end of the floor and had a few steals that led to scoring opportunities. A guard who can do a bit of everything on the floor.     The Ben Davis Giants will be in for another solid year in the Indianapolis area, and one of the senior guards who will be in the backcourt is [player_tooltip player_id='2561160' first='Jimmy' last='Womack']. Womack, a hybrid wing, was one of the better rebounders that I had a chance to watch. He was willing to get in the paint and compete on the glass on both ends of the floor. An under-the-radar player who could be in for a bit of a breakout for the Giants.     We had a few appearances from some under-the-radar players out of the Evansville area at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo, and one of those players was [player_tooltip player_id='2489606' first='De'Andre' last='Jennings']. A 6'0" guard out of Evansville Central High School, Jennings was one of the more true combo guards that I saw on Team 6. He made some plays in transition, defended at a pretty good level, and made plays both on and off the ball.     An off-ball guard/wing who I came away impressed with from the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo was [player_tooltip player_id='2559344' first='Reagan' last='Cheesman']. Representing Greenwood Christian, Cheesman was one of the more confident players off the ball, in my opinion. He had some really good cuts and did a nice job creating space to get three-point shots off. I am excited to see what his progression looks like over the next year.     One of the top prospects in the in-state 2027 class who was at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo on Sunday was [player_tooltip player_id='2141030' first='Karter' last='Kobe'] out of Portage High School. Almost right away during the first game I watched him play with Team 6, he had a standout play where he grabbed a defensive rebound and took it full court for a tough score. After that play, Kobe continued to stand out with his bigger size at the guard position, his handles, and his ability to just make plays with the ball in his hands. A standout player at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo.     Rounding out Team 6 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Expo was one of the literal biggest prospects out of the 2027 class, [player_tooltip player_id='2951652' first='Quentin' last='Bridgeman Jr.'] Standing at around 6'7"-6'8", Bridgeman Jr. takes up a lot of space in the paint due to his length and overall size. He is a smart big man who knows how to get to the right spots for easy dish-offs and proved to be a really nice passer for his size. He is not overly physical, but his size helps him do a lot under the basket on both ends of the floor.
