Colao is an all-around scorer with the ball in his hands. He can work the midrange game as well as anyone in his class and has a nice shot from beyond the arc. He has also turned into an excellent two-way player with his ability to lock down on defense. He will apply pressure the moment the ball is tipped off. Colao has good hands allowing him to pick off loose balls from players in trap situations.
