Naiim Parrish Naiim Parrish 5'11" | CG Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 5’11 CG Bergen Catholic
Parrish moved up 16 spots in the update as he provided stability for the Crusaders in the backcourt. The 5’11 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish through contact. Parrish can also score in the mid-range and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is a tough on-ball defender as he makes it hard for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Parrish’s collegiate future lies on the gridiron, but he also makes plays on the hardwood at both ends of the floor.
Cameron McRae Cameron McRae 5'10" | PG Elizabeth | 2025 State NJ , 5’10 PG Elizabeth
McRae had a big junior season, which resulted in him moving up 16 spots in the rankings. The 5’10 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to get to the rim and can finish around the basket. McRae is more than just a slasher as he has a smooth release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He can also play without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. McRae is a gritty, guard prospect who makes plays with the ball in his hands.
Zayier Dean Zayier Dean 6'0" | PG Red Bank Regional | 2025 State NJ , 6’0 PG Red Bank Regional
Dean jumped up 14 spots in the rankings as he helped the Buccaneers to 21 wins in 2023-24. The 6’0 lefty uses his speed to blow by his defender off the bounce and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. Dean has a nice touch on his floater and can opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He is an underrated passer and plays with good anticipation on the defensive end. Dean is a speedy, lead guard who is looking to carry over his play from the season into the spring and summer.
Jarrell Harmitt Jarrell Harmitt 6'1" | SG Teaneck | 2025 State NJ , 6’1 SG Teaneck
Harmitt had a breakout season, which resulted in him moving up 14 spots in the update. The 6’1 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he can finish through contact and can score in the mid-range. Harmitt moves well without the ball in his hands and sets his feet before he shoots. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and plays good on-ball defense. Harmitt had seven 20-point games in 2023-24 and should eclipse that number in 2024-25.
Brian Tassey Brian Tassey 6'4" | SG Freehold Boro | 2025 State NJ ,6’4 SG Freehold Boro
Tassey moved up 14 spots in the rankings as he put his all-around game on his display. The 6’4 guard uses his size to see over his defender and finds his open teammates in the floor. Tassey can finish in a variety of ways around the basket and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Tassey is a versatile guard prospect who should continue to rise up the rankings with a strong spring and summer.
