McRae is a streaky shooter that can get hot in a hurry. He can get up a lot of shots within a short period as all it takes is a couple to go down for him to heat up. He has unlimited range and has full confidence to hit the three-point shot on the fastbreak. McRae uses screens well to get around tough defenses and will look to pull-up from long range with any space the defense gives him.

Mcrae does most of his offensive damage in the catch-and-shoot pairing with his fast release. This allows him to get his shot off over almost anyone. He likes to come off of off-ball screens and get extra separation for open shots. Mcrae’s favorite shot seems to be the corners as he seems to never miss from there. Since he’s such an elite shooter many of his teammates can drive into the lane and draw double teams to kick it out to him for the open three-point shot.
