About Allan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a true team-first player and a pass-first point guard — if a teammate has a better look than I do, the ball is going their way. As a playmaker, I take pride in breaking down my defender to find weaknesses in the defense and create easy scoring opportunities for my teammates or myself.On the floor, I'm vocal, assertive, and serve as an extension of the coach. Hello coach, my name is Allan!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the court, I'm easygoing and enjoy building genuine connections with my teammates and coaches. I love to laugh, lend a hand whenever I can, and make the most out of life. While I steer clear of conflict, I'm a strong mediator when the situation calls for it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have not received any non-sport awards but really do join going to Church and learning about GOD.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing on teams from a young age has instilled in me a strong sense of maturity and leadership. My teammates value our relationships, which has helped me develop into a confident and effective leader on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've often been passed over for opportunities because I don't immediately pass the eye test. It's been a challenge, especially knowing I can compete with — and hold my own against — any of the players I've been overlooked for.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will give me the opportunity to play the game I love and be part of something bigger than myself. I want to attend an institution where I can earn a great education — one I may one day return to in order to help those coming up behind me. I'm not sure exactly what the future holds, but I'll always look for ways to give back the love and support I've received along th

Gomez transferred to Elizabeth during the summer and should make his impact felt right away. The 5’11 guard plays with poise on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and threads passes to his teammates the half court. Gomez has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. He moves well without the ball in his hands and jumps passing lanes on the defensive end. Gomez’s ability to run the offense is something that will help his stock throughout the course of the season.
