About Braydon
Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
Fischer is one of the many talented scoring options for the Wisconsin Academy -Riley squad. A combo guard in the truest definition, Braydon was making plays all over the floor and dishing out some impressive assists in the process. Fischer is part of the returning team state qualifying team at McFarland, and looks poised to take the next step going into his junior campaign. Braydon canned deep triples off the bounce and out of pick and roll opportunities in his game on Friday night versus Illinois Force. When he is not scoring, Fischer is tremendous at leading the Academy transition offense with sound court vision. I was impressed with Braydon’s ability to generate deflections and heat up the ball handlers on the defensive end as well.

Though just a sophomore, Braydon is one of those guys who can pop up with a big game at any given moment for McFarland. One night he can hit three or four threes to really help stretch the floor for his team. On another night he can jump passing lanes for 4-5 steals leading to some easy transition buckets. McFarland is coming off of an eye-catching 86-60 win over New Berlin West in sectionals, and a strong performance from Braydon could help them keep that momentum going in Madison.

A young player who competes with plenty of poise and skill, Fischer tossed in 12 big points for McFarland in its win over Sauk Prairie. The starting point guard did a good job of orchestrating the Spartans’ offense while also picking his spots to put the ball in the basket himself.
