Corvalis was producing with consistency against some of the top 16u teams in the Midwest this past weekend. The sophomore out of Madison is so good at changing his speed on the ball, and navigates screens like a seasoned vet to get downhill. He’s at his best getting to the rim where he’s a crafty finisher with his left hand, able to convert off the glass from a number of angles. He averaged an impressive 18.5 points per game across four games.

Stewart, who attends Madison West High School, is a talented downhill scorer for a loaded Wisconsin Academy team. Corvalis is left-handed and there is very little the defense can do when he gets a head of steam going left. Stewart can finish around and through contact well without much resistance. Stewart had 21 in a statement win against another solid ball club from Wisconsin, Team 1848 . Corvalis hit a pull-up jumper and will look to continue to develop this part of his game as he matures into his junior year and builds his skillset fully.

Stewart had a strong sophomore campaign for Madison West and then turned in some strong performances in the spring for the Wisconsin Academy club team. He has a solid combination of size and skill, and is aggressive with the ball in his hands. Competing against very strong competition in the Big Eight Conference, Stewart averaged 16.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the Regents.

Stewart is having a breakout season for Madison West after transferring to the westside school from Madison La Follette following his freshman year. Stewart went for 26 points for the Regents in a recent loss to Verona. That performance came on the heels of another top showing against one of the state’s better teams as Stewart had 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in a narrow loss to Middleton. Stewart’s ability to play either guard spot and put up big scoring totals while also getting the ball to his teammates are impressive traits and a major reason why he has moved up in the Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player Rankings for 2028.

A gifted wing prospect who played on the varsity squad at Madison La Follette as a freshman and averaged 2.1 points and 3.0 rebounds for the Lancers. Stewart had a solid club season with the talented Wisconsin Academy 15U program, showing the ability to score and defend while contributing to plenty of wins over the course of the season. He also dropped 31 points in a recent title-game loss on the NY2LA circuit.
