A teammate with Taylor on the Midwest Cincy 15 U squad, Trimbach was one of the top freshman scorers in the state of Ohio last season. Trimbach led his conference in scoring at 23 points per game on 50/41/74 splits from the floor. Obviously a talented scorer at the small town high school level based on these numbers, Trimbach was a floor spacer off the ball with his grassroots team, using his positional size to space the floor. I also liked his natural feel with the ball in his hands, not forcing the issue. Name to know from the greater Dayton area, which has some top talent in the 2028 class.

One of the top scorers in Ohio’s 2028 class, Trimbach hit the ground running at the varsity level and led his conference in scoring at 23 PPG. A high feel player on the offensive end, Trimbach has good hands and an advanced understanding of moving without the ball to make himself available. Able to score on the short roll to the rim or pop out to the 3-point line, Trimbach is skilled with good positional size and a high IQ. One of the top players in the Dayton area for the class of 2028, Trimbach is on his way to becoming a household name.

I had recently spotlighted Trimbach as a standout player and once again he was one of the top players on the court during the championship game. I was impressed with how well Trimbach moved without the ball, making himself available in the paint off cuts and getting in position for offensive rebounds. His length also allowed him to extend at the rim on finishes to avoid rim protectors. Finally, Trimbach once again shot the ball well from 3-point range. Excited to follow Trimbach as he matures.

Another 2028 prospect standing out playing in the high school division, Trimbach has solid size on the wing and ran the floor to get a couple easy buckets by beating the defense down the court. Transition was his best opportunity to score as he did well with a spaced out court when there were 2 on 1 and 3 on 2 situations. Trimbach wasn’t shying away from contact either, drawing a handful of fouls. Trimbach looks like a name to know as a small-town prospect down the road.
