It is a very busy time of year here at Prep Hoops Indiana headquarters. Not only are we providing wall-to-wall coverage of the IHSAA State Tournament, but we are also in the middle of updating all of our prospect rankings. Last week, we released our initial Top 25 prospects in the Class of 2028. Then, on Tuesday, we updated and expanded our Class of 2027 prospect rankings. As always, we will spend the week diving deeper into those rankings highlight some of the stock-risers, new names, and much more. Here are six prospects who saw the biggest jump in this rankings release.

Baker is one of the best shooters and pure scorers in Indiana's Class of 2027. The 6'1" McCutcheon guard has really exploded as a sophomore averaging 20.3 points per game while shooting an incredible 82-149 (55.0%) from three-point range. That percentage at that volume makes him one of the best three-point shooters in the state regardless of class. He is now ranked #30 in our rankings.

We had the opportunity to watch Coolman play recently when he went for 20 points in Homestead's Sectional win over Huntington North. The smooth, left-handed guard helped lead Homestead to the Sectional title the next night. Coolman controls the pace of the game at all times and is a really crafty playmaker with the ball in his hands. He is now ranked #46 in our Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings.

A bouncy, strong, athletic interior presence for Garrett High School, we continue to be high on this prospect as he gets older. King averaged 15.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game as a sophomore. He has emerged as a Top 50 prospect in the Class of 2027 after previously being on the Watch List.

It is hard to argue with the consistent production of this talented sophomore guard. Martin, along with a couple of other Class of 2027 prospects, helped lead Liberty Christian to the Class 1A Final Four last season. The 6'2" guard has really emerged as the star of the group this season averaging 15.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Martin improved from #41 to #27 in this latest rankings update.

Perry has really blossomed this season in the Columbus North backcourt showcasing his playmaking and shot-making skills off of the dribble. The 6'1" guard makes his debut in our prospect rankings at #45 after averaging 12.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

Anytime you come across a young prospect with this type of size you are going to be intrigued. Young is a massive interior presence that had a very good freshman season at Highland before transferring to Gary 21st Century this season. Look for him to have a breakout spring and summer with Meanstreets on the EYBL Circuit.
