IBCA Top 100 Showcase: Kyler’s Players To Watch

The month of June is rolling on in the state as we get ready for another huge event in the month of June with the annual IBCA Top 100 Showcase, which takes place this Friday at Ben Davis High School. Most of the top boys basketball players in the state will be in attendance. Here are a few players to watch in this showcase.    There are some really talented, up-and-coming 2029 prospects that will be participating in the Top 100 this Friday and one of those guys is [player_tooltip player_id='2889976' first='Romyiez' last='Calvin']. Calvin is coming off a very strong spring with this super talented [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] team and is looking to parlay that into a strong June. Calvin is one of the best front court prospects in the Indiana class of 2029 with his length at 6'5 and physical inside-out presence.     Another player from the very talented [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 2029 team and Evansville area that will be at the Top 100 is [player_tooltip player_id='3254540' first='Grayson' last='Dease']. Dease is a skilled 6'6 wing that has a very smooth offensive game. He is really sharp as a three-point shooter but his strength right now is getting downhill and using his athleticism to make plays in the lane.     One of the top Indiana class of 2028 prospects that will be at the Top 100 is New Palestine wing [player_tooltip player_id='2560420' first='Will' last='Davison']. Davison has been one of the breakout players in the class with his play on Indiana Elite 2028 this spring and is expected to have a huge June during high school ball. Davison is a 6'5 shooting guard that can score at a very high level in multiple areas of the floor. It won't be too long before he starts getting offer after offer.     A top-20 prospect in the Indiana Class of 2028 that will be in the gym on Friday is [player_tooltip player_id='2539823' first='Drake' last='Sefton'] out of Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian HS. Sefton opted to play out of state this spring with Grand Rapids Storm so we did not get to see a ton of him but will have chance to do so this Friday. Sefton is a 6'4 perimeter player. Sefton is a talented yet underrated playmaker that can make plays both on and off the ball. Has an offer from Grace.     An under-the-radar 2028 prospect out of Blackford High School that will be int he gym on Friday is [player_tooltip player_id='2791287' first='Rayveon' last='Fetz']. At Blackford, all the eyes are usually on [player_tooltip player_id='2539991' first='Amarian' last='Leggett'] but Fetz is also strong backcourt piece for them. Other than Leggett, Fetz is the main ball handler for them and competes on both ends of the floor with speed and toughness. One to keep an eye on at the Top 100.     Our first of five Indiana class of 2027 prospects that we will be looking at is senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140342' first='Chace' last='Ford'] of Brebeuf Jesuit. Ford is a 6'2 guard that plays with lightening quick speed on the ball. A highly productive guard in multiple areas of the floor, he is especially strong in the lane where he can use his quickness to get to the basket anytime he wants to. Has an offer from Allen University with more expected to be on the way.     An under-the-radar prospect out of the 2027 class that we are excited to get another look at on Friday is point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414956' first='Brayden' last='Thiele-Hahn'] out of Rossville High School. He was the guy for Rossville last season and is once again expected to be that for month of June as well. At the Top 100 this Friday, Thiele-Hahn will standout with how dynamic he is and great feel on the ball. Could be one of the more surprising players at the Top 100.     One of the best big man prospects that will be at the Top 100 this Friday is [player_tooltip player_id='2414955' first='Luke' last='Vandegriff']. When it comes to Vandegriff, the 6'10 center has been one of the more improved players each season and has had a very strong spring with Midwest Basketball Club. He is a massive prospect that is real efficient around the rim with a soft touch. No offers made public yet but that should change real soon.     An under-the-radar guard to keep an eye on this weekend at the Top 100 is [player_tooltip player_id='2141030' first='Karter' last='Kobe'] of Portage High School. He is super athletic guard out of the backcourt with good length to his frame. He can really be a microwave scorer at times and when he has his rhythm going, he's just tough to contain with the energy he plays with. Small colleges should love what he can bring to a team.     Rounding out our watchlist is 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140451' first='Trey' last='Page'] out of Sheridan High School. A top 70 player in the Indiana class of 2027, Page is a 6'2 guard that has real skill in the backcourt and can really shoot it at a high level. He will be one of the more productive players at the Top 100 this weekend. Small colleges should really be looking at him hard.
