Another small town standout, Edwards was a major stock riser during the midwest fall league in columbus. With good positional size from the wing guard position, Edwards is already a primary ball handler for the Chieftains. I was impressed by Edwards ability to create offense for himself and others. Edwards also can use either hand to attack off the bounce and shoots a clean ball out of his hands. Edwards impressed with Midwest MHC 15 U last summer and should be a key building block for their program this summer as well.

Spotlighted as a standout from this weeks action, Edwards was another prospect who week in and week out showed up and made a strong impact. Traveling over an hour from Logan each week, Edwards made the long drives worth it.

One of the more consistent week to week performers in the fall league, Edwards was somebody you could count on to get buckets. With a rainbow arc on his 3-point shot, Edwards shot looks really pretty when it goes in. A natural scorer, Edwards is able to create off the dribble and has a knack for scoring around defenders in the paint. One of the top scorers in southeast Ohio, Edwards will play against numerous marquee opponents from Columbus this winter.

I got to see Edwards in the spring for his Midwest MHC 15 U team and he once again impressed on Saturday. Edwards has a solid frame for a rising sophomore and was physical on both ends of the court. Able to seal defenders in the paint, Edwards wasn’t afraid of contact when going up at the rim. The wing guard also knocked down numerous spot-up 3-pointers, showing his ability to space the floor. One of the top prospects from southeast Ohio in the 2028 class, Edwards is a small town prospect to watch over the next three years.

Midwest MHC 15 U got a nice win to end their weekend on Sunday and Edwards impressed with a well-rounded offensive game. Able to create his own shot, Edwards hit a tough step-back mid-range jumper that caught my eye. Knocking down a few 3-pointers as well, Edwards is a perimeter shot maker on a team filled with confident floor spacers. I also was impressed with how well Edwards competed on the glass against taller opposition. One of the top 2028 prospects in southeast Ohio, Edwards could be the next star to come out of Logan.
