The MVP of the tournament, Waide was in control all weekend long. Whether it was getting the game winning bucket against Kentucky Supreme on Saturday morning or leading his team to the title win on Sunday afternoon, Santi was hard to guard. The Woodford County PG had a strong weekend from start to finish.
Coming back from a wrist injury, Gutman still doesn’t have his shooting stroke back just yet but he had a good weekend where he scored double figures in about every game. Aaron is 6’6 and still growing and has mastered the shot fake and baseline drive into a layup. If he can add bulk to his slender frame, look for Gutman to be a top 2025 in NKY soon.

Speaking of top NKY 2025s, Jaidan has grown and added strength since the last time I saw him. Combs is likely to be the go to scorer at Campbell County for the next two years and looks like he’s ready for the part after this weekend. If he can improve his shooting percentages, Jaidan could be a top scorer in the 10th region next season.
Colton is in line to be the go to scorer for a North Laurel squad that will be looking at life after Reed and Ryan but Rawlings has been waiting for this opportunity. This past weekend, Colton was an active on ball defender and made shots at a high clip. He still needs to get more confident attacking the rim but Colton has a chance to make a big jump next year.

Birney had a good weekend in Wilder, scoring in double figures each game. Supreme is a group that plays hard and Jace definitely did that in every game. He showed the ability to score the ball at all three levels and uses his big frame to attack the paint and finish through contact, often getting to the free throw line.
