One of the more overlooked prospects in the class, Gutman is a big wing with great length and he’s an explosive athlete. A volume scorer, Aaron can heat up in a hurry and is a true three level scorer.

My favorite player to watch from this list, Gutman is a wing who can do a lot with the ball in his hands. A good spot-up shooter, able to attack off the dribble and can play above the rim, Gutman has skills that college programs are looking for at his size. I’m really surprised more programs haven’t made Gutman a priority but if he continues to fly under the radar, he could be a player who makes an immediate impact at the college level. It will be very interesting to see where Gutman ends up.

I caught Gutman both Saturday night and Sunday morning and he had polar opposite performances. After struggling for a majority of the game on Saturday, Gutman came out on a mission Sunday morning with a handful of college coaches watching his game. He was knocking down 3-point shots from the wing, throwing down dunks in transition off steals and making chase down blocks at the rim. One of the more under the radar prospects in Kentucky’s 2025 class, Gutman was seen by the right Division I coaches to potentially land his first offer of that level.

I hadn’t seen Gutman live since last summer and he’s clearly grown a little and added some bulk to his previously very skinny frame. The thing I appreciate about Aaron is his is always applying pressure on the offensive glass and looking for put back dunk opportunities. With his size, length and athleticism, Gutman is the most overlooked player in 2025 in my opinion.

A player who impresses basically every time I watch him play, Gutman is maybe the biggest sleeper in Kentucky. A skilled wing forward who can really shoot it, attack off the bounce and has improved athletically, Gutman checks a lot of boxes for Division I programs. The creation ability of Gutman off the bounce pops when you watch him, he had some impressive dribble moves to get to his spots either for a pull-up jumper or to the paint. His athleticism has also improved since my last scout in the winter, Gutman had a putback slam dunk that gave his team a boost of momentum. I expect Gutman’s recruitment to spike in May and June when more Division I and II programs go watch Moss Elite and Walton Verona.

Aaron is one of the best “sleeper” prospects in Kentucky, in my opinion. A big wing who is athletic and has good feel for the game, Gutman has D1 potential as a wing in the right situation. The 6’6 wing checks a lot of boxes as a D1 prospect but needs to refine his shot selection and improve his efficiency. He definitely has all the physical tools.

Gutman is one of my favorite prospects in the class and a player who should be on the radar of all the in-state D1 and D2 schools. A big wing that can knock down 3s at a high clip, the 6’7 Gutman has been scoring 20+ per game for a couple of seasons now and is an underrated athlete.

A player I caught in June and really liked his game, Gutman once again flashed his talent for a Walton Verona squad that has a lot of offensive talent. A good athlete for his size, Gutman can get downhill and make a crossover or euro-step to avoid a shot contest at the rim. Moved well without the ball, getting a couple easy buckets off cuts. Struggled from 3-point range this game but Gutman shoots such a smooth ball off the bounce and catch from long distance. Biggest area of improvement for Gutman will be improving his physicality and becoming a better defender. With his size, skill and shooting ability, there’s no reason Gutman can’t prove himself to be a Division I talent this spring and summer with the right grassroots fit.

One of the better prospects in Northern Kentucky in that 2025 class, Gutman is long and a sneaky good athlete who can make perimeter shots or get to the rim and finish. Aaron is legit 6’6 and still growing. He sat out July AAU due to some injuries but if he gets back in front of coaches next spring, he could earn D1 offers.

can hurt you in many ways. He can drive past you for a flush or knock down a three in your face. Gutman is a do-it-all type of player and is someone you can trust having the ball in crunch time. The All 8th Region member is bound to have another solid season.
