McGrew has been nothing short of spectacular through his first season, putting up big numbers on high efficiency from the floor. At roughly 6’8, the forward is notably skilled given his raw power within the paint. Already possessing a knockdown jumper from the elbows, there is no doubt he is well on his way towards becoming a legitimate floor spacer. With that being said, McGrew’s bread and butter resides in the paint, cleaning the glass and being a bully down low. Through his freshman season that was benefitted by a Great 8 appearance, McGrew put up 10.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game.
Gavin Placide Gavin Placide 6'9" | SF Utah Prep | 2026 State UT – Grandview
The game comes easy for Gavin Placide Gavin Placide 6'9" | SF Utah Prep | 2026 State UT , finding highly efficient shot attempts from all over the floor. Standing right around 6’6, Placide is a prototypical modern wing who can defend multiple positions while providing a diverse perimeter centric skillset. The wing does a great job handling contact around the rim, even getting to short floaters as a finesse finish. What puts him as the state’s second overall prospect is his playmaking vision with the ball. Already possessing a ton of gravity, Placide can see above the defense to make high level reads off the dribble. Through his first season at Grandview, Placide posted 10.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while converting 35% of triples.

Gallagher Placide Gallagher Placide 6'9" | SF Utah Prep | 2026 State UT does a lot within a fairly streamlined role, typically creating opportunties from straight line drives or jumpers off the catch. The freshman is all too much to handle for opposing defenses, given his bounce and initial first step. The small forward is already a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc, contributing 40% of three point attempts. Placide has the strength to take hits from seniors, finishing through contact multiple times per game. Through his freshman season, he posted 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
Carter Basquez Carter Basquez 6'5" | CG Smoky Hill | 2026 State CO -Smoky Hill
Basquez brings sharpshooting alongside uspide as a multi-positional defender at roughly 6’4. The combo guard is highly disciplined, proving to make low risk, beneficial decisions that impact winning. The guard has the ball on a string going either direction, proving capable as a driver with either hand. Likely his highest upside trait will be the self-created jumpshot. With his wide reach, Basquez can create plenty of space within a single crossover, not to mention he is a marksman off the dribble. Through his freshman season at Smoky Hill, Basquez posted 7.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block per game.
Franck Belibi Franck Belibi 6'3" | SG Cherry Creek | 2026 KS – Cherry Creek
Belibi is an athletically gifted guard who has notable bounce around the rim. Standing right around 6’3, he is a high level defender at the point of attack, already proving strong enough to handle both backcourt positions. Although low volume, it is a great sign to see the guard hitting perimeter jumpers, contributing 35% of three point attempts on the season. Through his first year at Cherry Creek, the shooting guard posted 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Belibi is likely primed for a breakout year in his sophomore year, exciting times ahead for the freshman.
