Games I Attended

North Cobb Christian (72) vs Mt. Paran (26)

This game wasn't very competitive and Mt. Paran struggled to match the size and skill of North Cobb Christian. The loss of [player_tooltip player_id='1256344' first='Bradley' last='Kemp'] (torn meniscus) is a huge blow for Mt. Paran, leaving them without much size at all. [player_tooltip player_id='1049233' first='CJ' last='Wallace'] and Christian Hernandez both played well for NCCS, combining for 8 three-pointers and leading the Eagles to the win.

Hiram (87) vs Paulding County (68)

Hiram took care of Paulding County on Friday night with a very impressive showing on all accounts. They were flying around on defense, racking up a ton of blocks and steals. [player_tooltip player_id='1501793' first='Chase' last='Tyler'] was dominant, scoring 22 first-half points and finishing with 31 in the game. [player_tooltip player_id='1381054' first='Javonne' last='Williams'] was a aggressive for Paulding County and had 25 points.

Parkview (63) vs Collins Hill (47)

Parkview took home the win in the early morning game of the TOC Holiday Classic. It was another great showcase outing for [player_tooltip player_id='1444779' first='Jacob' last='Wilkins'] and he led all scorers with 26 points. Parkview did a great job on [player_tooltip player_id='820290' first='Keishawn' last='Hampton'], limiting him to just 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1054800' first='Mike' last='Matthews'] also provided energy, making numerous hustle plays and throwing down a few big dunks.

Langston Hughes (53) vs Tucker (50)

Langston Hughes-Tucker turned out to be one of the best games on Saturday at Wheeler. Both teams played well at times and had their respective runs but Langston Hughes was able to finish at the end. It was a well-rounded attack for Hughes and [player_tooltip player_id='1501776' first='Randy' last='Latham'] stepped up in some big moments. [player_tooltip player_id='1458271' first='Khayri' last='Dunn'] impressed from Tucker with his on-ball defense and ability to get to the free throw line.

Shiloh (62) vs Holy Innocents (53)

Shiloh ended up pulling out the win in a game that was tight throughout. [player_tooltip player_id='1383029' first='Tylis' last='Jordan'] got hot in the second half and helped Shiloh pull away in the 4th. He led all scorers with 25 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1459961' first='Will' last='Hopkins'] and Devin Hutcherson played well for HIES but the absences of [player_tooltip player_id='1383017' first='Caleb' last='Wilson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1617658' first='O'Neill' last='Connolly'] certainly hurt.

Grayson (64) vs Alexander (60)

This one turned out to be the best game of the day at the TOC Holiday Classic. Alexander played a tough 36 minutes and had several leads throughout the game. While [player_tooltip player_id='1131772' first='CJ' last='Hyland'] went down early in the game, [player_tooltip player_id='1131773' first='Gicarri' last='Harris'] stepped up and scored the ball efficiently. [player_tooltip player_id='1383021' first='Amir' last='Taylor'] also had a great game and finished with 18 points.

Pebblebrook (63) vs Tr-Cities (41)

Pebblebrook gets the runaway win over Tri-Cities on Saturday behind [player_tooltip player_id='873086' first='Jase' last='McCullough']'s 27 points. His three-ball was falling all game and he finished with 7 three-pointers. [player_tooltip player_id='1579522' first='Caleb' last='Thomas'] stepped up and handled the PG responsibilities while TJ Holmes was out with injury. [player_tooltip player_id='1069979' first='Prince' last='Johnson'] also had a great 2nd-half and had a couple of huge dunks.

Kell (67) vs McEachern (62)

Unfortunately, neither team was at full strength in this one but that doesn't take anything away from Kell's impressive win. With [player_tooltip player_id='1201615' first='Peyton' last='Marshall'] sidelined, I expected Kell to struggle with McEachern's size but their adapted playing style turned out to be incredibly smooth and effective. [player_tooltip player_id='1201630' first='CJ' last='Brown'] had several highlight plays and led Kell with 18 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1215446' first='Jaylen' last='Colon'] also had 17, including multiple deep threes.
