Castle is one of the strongest scorers and finishers you will find at the 49th Annual City of Palms Classic. The 6-7 UConn signee just eclipsed the 1,000 point milestone back on December 7 in their win against Eastside (Georgia). He can also guard positions 1 through 5 on the defensive end as well. Castle and the rest of the Newton (Georgia) Rams will take on Lake Highlands (Texas) in their first game of the City of Palms Classic on Friday at 4:15 p.m.

UConn is getting a workhorse guard with great versatility. At 6-foot-6, Castle is a nightmare to cover. He has deep three-point range and is a foul magnet when getting to the rim. He usually saves his best performances for when the stage is the biggest. Castle makes any team a state contender.

UConn-commit is a mismatch on the perimeter. Exceptional downhill. Does a great job drawing fouls and cashing in at the free throw line. Has impressive three-point range. Length allows him to help defend all over the floor.

No. 1 – The UConn-commit nabs the top spot and is ranked the top prospect in Georgia’s 2023 class. His size at the guard position coupled with his two-way impact separate him just enough from the field. Castle is a nightmare to keep in front. He excels at attacking the rim and drawing fouls, routinely attempting double digit free throws. Stephon’s deep range extends defenses out, leading to more downhill opportunities. At 6-foot-6, he can defend multiple spots on the floor, giving him major value at the next level.
