Up from No. 160: Montevallo-signee had a meteoric rise before a season-ending injury. Went from a bench player at Holy Innocents’ to a star at Mt. Pisgah averaging close to 20 points and 8 rebounds per game. Mismatch with his size and guard skills on the wing. Versatile three-level scorer.

Back from a serious elbow injury, the Montevallo-signee was a bright spot for the Patriots, scoring eight of his team-high 10 points in the third quarter. A tough baseline reverse got him started, followed by a deep top of the key three. Connolly has a robust skill set and can play either forward position.

Back from injury. Provides length and a smooth game, able to catch and score in a fluid motion. Runs the floor for easy buckets and can shoot over top contests from beyond the arc. Netted 7 points and 6 rebounds.

Before injuring his left arm, O’Neill was off to a blistering start at Mt. Pisgah. The Holy Innocents’ transfer averaged just 2.8 points and 2.6 rebounds as a junior before being unleashed as a Patriot, pouring in 20.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, shooting 43% from three. Montevallo, Covenant, Brevard and Oglethorpe have all offered.

Interesting prospect due to his size and touch. Shoots well from the perimeter both on the catch and off the dribble. Is a methodical ball-handler. Can create mismatches and shoot over smaller defenders.

initially jumped onto my radar at our Top250 showcase in the fall and I think he’ll open plenty more eyes this spring. Connolly is a skilled 6’6 wing that can shoot the three and score from all 3 levels. I think HoopAtlanta may provide the perfect opportunity for him to show what he can do from the perimeter while toughening him up a little bit on the defensive end.

Connolly made a very good first impression on me. At 6-foot-6 he’s a mismatch on the perimeter. He’s a very good three-point shooter, but isn’t one dimensional. He changes speeds well, using subtle bursts to beat his man off the dribble. I think he can grow even more as a creator on the wing. In a small-ball lineup, he’s a perfect stretch forward.

was undoubtedly one of the top performers on the day regardless of class. Connolly grew more and more confident with each game and by the end of the day, he was looking like an absolute killer offensively. He’s got a pretty jump-shot which he hit on consistently throughout the day, both off the dribble and the catch. At Holy Innocents, Connolly may be 3rd or 4th on the totem pole because of big-time talents like
