In this post, we’re putting a spotlight on five prospects that had excellent offseasons and should go into their sophomore seasons with plenty of momentum. Check out Prep Hoops Oklahoma for more prospect breakdowns. And stay tuned throughout the rest of the month for more ranking updates!
Cam Parker

Crossings Christian | 2025

OK
– Forward – Crossings Christian
(Ranked #18 Overall)
Cam Parker Cam Parker 6'6" | PF Crossings Christian | 2025 State OK was one of two freshmen that got significant playing time for Crossings Christian last year and enjoyed breakout seasons. While guard Cal Furnish Cal Furnish 5'11" | PG Crossings Christian | 2025 State OK has turned into a potential sharpshooting star, Parker is an intriguing prospect moving forward as a forward. As a freshman, he was still figuring out what his role was on the team but you could see his steady improvement throughout the season. He’s an interesting prospect because he was used primarily in the block and was needed for size on the offensive and defensive sides of the floor. But as his game continues to develop and he continues to work on his game outside of the paint, he’s going to be a forward name to know. He enjoyed a strong offseason as well and with Crossings Christian reloading this year, they should be a team to look out for and he’ll be one of the names we want to see early on to see what kind of jump he made in the last nine months.
Kam Burris

Cascia Hall | 2025

– Guard – Cascia Hall
(Ranked #41 Overall)
When I first joined Prep Hoops Oklahoma, one of the first events I covered was our 250 Expo last fall, by the way, you can sign up for this year’s event RIGHT HERE. (Shameless plug) At that event, one of the freshmen that really caught my eye was Cascia Hall’s Kam Burris Kam Burris 6'4" | PG Cascia Hall | 2025 State OK . He was going against players bigger, faster and older than him but he still found a way to make an impact. Fast forward to July when I saw him again at a Prep Hoops tournament and I was once again impressed. Not only the growth in his game on the floor but his growth physically. It looked like he had grown several inches from the first time I saw him and was turning himself into a strong and confident point guard. Cascia Hall has a few young prospects to keep an eye on and an exciting new head coach leading the program. It’s been a while since Cascia has been in the conversation in Oklahoma for basketball but that could be changing soon.
Kobe Freeman

Purcell | 2025
State
OK
– Guard – Purcell
(Ranked #23 Overall)
Another guard prospect that caught my eye early on during his freshman year was Purcell’s Kobe Freeman Kobe Freeman 5'11" | PG Purcell | 2025 State OK . When it comes to 2025 guards, there are few that had stronger offseasons while competing on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Granted, he probably had a ton of momentum coming into the offseason after his freshman year. I didn’t get a chance to see him in person during the school season but that should be changing this winter after his growth over the last year. Freeman is a very confident guard that can get his offense going in a variety of ways. He can either beat defenders with iso moves, get up a quick shot or get his teammates involved. He was incredibly consistent every time we saw him this offseason and the more confidence he gains running the offense, the higher his stock should go when it comes to the next level. It’s still very early for that but Freeman is a guard that has a very high ceiling.
Logan Knol – Forward – Edmond North
(Ranked #19 Overall)
If Freeman is one of the top guards from the Prep Hoops Circuit, leading the way for the forwards is Edmond North’s Logan Knol. We got a chance to see him quite a bit this offseason and were incredibly impressed with his advanced skillset when you compare him to some other prospects around his size. The interesting thing about Knol will be surrounding his role with Edmond North from November to March. This is arguably the best team in the state and they are absolutely loaded. Guys are going to be scratching and clawing for playing time so we’re looking forward to seeing what Knol ends up being during the high school season. But there is no doubt that he can make an impact for him. He was so efficient around the basket and could finish with either hand but he wasn’t just playing in the paint. Knol would step out and create offense for himself and others with his passing and his shooting.
Triston Driver

– Guard – Bixby
(Ranked #16 Overall)
And finally, right there with Kobe Freeman Kobe Freeman 5'11" | PG Purcell | 2025 State OK is Bixby’s Triston Driver Triston Driver 6'0" | PG Bixby | 2025 State OK when it comes to guards excelling on the Prep Hoops Circuit. I personally only got to see Driver in person a handful of times this spring and summer but because we have so many writers across our network, I was able to see how Driver was performing throughout the offseason, based on breakdowns from other writers. When I finally got a chance to see Driver in person, I was thouroughly impressed. Driver was one of the top scoring guards on the Circuit this offseason and he backed that up when I checked him out. Not only can he get his shot from just about anywhere on the court, but he can drive to the basket at will and can finish against bigger defenders. And one of the first games I watched, Driver did an excellent job getting his teammates involved and looked like an overall playmaker instead of strictly a scorer. We’re looking forward to seeing how he fits with 2023 star Parker Friedrichsen Parker Friedrichsen 6'4" | SG Bixby | 2023 State #165 Nation OK .
