The man in the middle for Crossings was key in beating up teams on the glass in their Thursday and Saturday wins. He’s embracing his role as a bruiser and enforcer by crashing the glass hard and setting hard screens. Continues to have great chemistry with Furnish on those screens. Is the anchor in the middle for a Crossings’ squad that’s playing some of the best ball in the state right now.

The pick and pop threat battled against the formidable size of Union. While also making them pay when he slipped out to the three point line and connected three different times. The junior forward has great feel for the pocket of spaces he needs to be in to effectively stretch the defense and make them pay for sagging off. Parker even had some good moments on the offensive glass against the giants of the Union.

Officially the junior finished a point and rebound short of a double-double. Unofficially, the size and toughness he provided against the huge Weatherford front line was more than enough to make up for falling just short in the box score. 5 of his 9 rebounds came on the offensive end, as he consistently displayed his outstanding feel for seemingly always being in the right place and right time to crash the glass, role to an opening, or feed a teammate for a good pass. Along with his presence on the defensive end at walling off the rim, Parker’s impact went well beyond the stat sheet.

Parker has been a fun watch this winter and spring because of his consistent improvement. He’s become a more agile and active player, all while maintaining his willingness to battle it out around the rim. The Crossings Knight often uses his strong frame to carve out space for rebounds or post touches. While also having a thriving pick and pop game in the mid-range and even beyond the arc. A blue collar forward prospect with improving stretch forward aspects, Parker is due for another productive season this winter and up tick in college recruitment is likely to come soon.

Game Watched: ASAK EliternParker continues to be a fun watch, because the youngster has already found a consistent level of production. And it’s not just limited to one aspect of the game, they physical forward can be seen crashing the glass, hitting threes, and going to work down-low on mismatches. In this contest in particular, Team Trae Young seemed focus on getting Parker quality touches around the rim, where he went to work with good efficiency. The workhorse forward has skill to his game, but his apparent dedication to balance it out with power is refreshing.

Parker’s continual improvement over the last 6 months has been impressive and he looks set for a productive spring and summer. The broad shouldered 2025 prospect has become more mobile, flashing some perimeter aspects to his game. But he still looked at his best when posting up on the block and being an enforcer around the rim. It was good to see his willingness to still battle around the rim, call for post ups, etc. As sometimes 6 foot 6 forwards become too obsessed with trying to be a wing and neglect the foundation that made them a good player in the first place.
To go along with his productive physical play at the rim, Parker is becoming a stretch four type with a consistent catch and shoot jumper. In the second half against Impact, he showed off that improved shooting with comfortable makes off spot up and pick and pop opportunities.

Another double double performer, the strong 6 foot 5 sophomore has developed into an impressive player for the Knights this season. In other viewings he’s shown the ability to step out and hit in the mid-range and three as a pick and pop or spot up threat. But today he had his hardhat on by taking advantage of his size and power advantage down low. Parker finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds on a nice 6 of 9 shooting performance from the field.
