Pulliam brings plenty of intrigue heading into his final season with Doherty, possessing a high IQ and strong frame. With an excellent pivot game and corresponding size, the power forward is a smooth scorer down low. Effective scoring with either hand through contact or contests, Pulliam is among the most skilled frontcourt prospects in the class. Another area of value has been the forward’s floor spacing, effective on spot-up attempts from the corners and wings. Defensively, they are a proactive interior defender, getting into help side positions very quickly. Doherty was a dependable program last season, going 16-9 and asserting themselves as one of the most competitive teams in Colorado Springs. Pulliam played a large role in their success, although he has continued to gain notable athleticism over the past 6 months.

James Pulliam James Pulliam 6'7" | PF Doherty | 2024 State CO is a super skilled big man who has great touch for his size. Near the rim, James does a good job using his pivot to get defenders out of position and finish with hooks or layups. James has a sneaky quick first step that he can use to pass slower bigs. From behind the three-point arc, he has a super good shooting stroke and can knock down shots in catch-and-shoot situations.
