Redden is one of the few players in this group that we got to see on multiple occasions and the best part of that is measuring the growth. He looks much better each time that we see him and he also plays with an edge, handles the ball well, creates for himself and teammates in iso and plays well against pressure. We saw Redden at the TuneUpCO event this year, the difference was how much more control he seemed to have is noticeable. He wasn’t just attacking but he was running the offense, changing speeds, rotating the ball quickly and understanding when it was his turn to score. The jumper has become a real weapon too, especially in the mid-range and from three if he really wants to be a weapon but he showed that there’s something there as well. Now that he’s entering high school so I want to see him continue becoming more of a complete point guard. The scoring is already there. If the leadership and command keep growing with it, Redden could make another big jump.

Redden was a standout on multiple occasions for Olympic City Elite when we saw him this summer, and we’re curious to see if there’s something more for him. I personally liked his pace and decision-making as it lets him score with ease, make plays on both ends of the floor, and he showed that he could be a floor general that gets teammates involved. I’d like to see that same competitiveness on display at the showcase this week, where he makes the trip to prove himself.

Redden always brings an edge and energy to the floor for Olympic City Elite, making an impact every time he stepped on the court during the tournament. As the point guard he did a great job controlling the pace, creating opportunities for teammates and keeping the offense organized. His ball handling ability allowed him to break down defenders, while his creativity as a finisher made him a tough matchup around the rim. Redden plays with confidence and a competitive mindset that stands out, constantly putting pressure on the defense and making winning plays. His toughness, skill and leadership qualities make him a player who continues to be exciting to watch

Redden looks like a player that could continue emerging as a high level lead guard because of the pace, confidence and control he plays with. He makes the right reads, shows advanced court vision and creates easy scoring chances for teammates in games. His ability to score from multiple levels also makes him difficult to defend, as he can knock down perimeter shots or quickly attack gaps off the dribble. Redden’s burst downhill and ability to create separation stand out every time he had the ball in his hands. As he continues adding strength and refining his overall game, he has the tools to become a very dangerous offensive creator moving forward

Redden was the spark plug and the go to guy for his team all weekend. He played with a super high IQ and just had total control of the game whenever he was on the floor. It felt like he always knew where his teammates were, dropping perfect passes and setting them up for easy buckets. Offensively, he was a real problem for opponents. His mid range and three point shooting were both on point, and he had this way of getting defenders off balance before pulling up with a quick, smooth release. What really stood out was his burst to the hole, he had serious speed getting downhill and that quick crossover made it tough for anyone to stay in front of him
